Close to the
forest reserve of Toubkal, the field is fully integrated into the landscape and Berber culture.
The area of Lands of Amanar won the
trophy Responsible Tourism in Morocco in 2009, and is one of the leading examples of a Moroccan tourism friendly, green and authentic.
The team is composed of locals and professionals from all backgrounds. The project helps approximately 150 families living there and thus avoid the rural exodus.
Everything has been conceived and designed in perfect harmony with the local environment.
The Lands of Amanar encourage simple values:
- rejection of waste and energy savings,
- local sourcing and promoting local products in collaboration with local cooperatives (vegetables, handicrafts, construction materials),
- an organization of recycling on site and region,
- transmission of knowledge and skills,
- customer awareness of the role they can play on the preservation of the environment.
