Igwa Aventure Guadeloupe (French Caribbean) is a new race of international scale during which, throughout one week, from November 22 th to November 29th 2008, 22 teams will live and progress through running, swimming, paddleling, biking, discovering or seeking... The race will respectively alternate adventure-sports events in the heart of the nature the Guadeloupean Islands landscape and discovery events in tows and villages, so to feel scents and flavours, and to go to meet the inheritance and culture of the guadeloupeans.

Route du Rhum, St Malo to Pointe a Pitre (Guadeloupe): also called "the most famous single-handed Transatlantic race", the 2010 edition of the Route du Rhum promises beautiful moments of sailing.
This yacht  single-handed Transatlantic race will start October 31, 2010 in Saint-Malo to join Pointe a Pitre in Guadeloupe.

Historic:  in 1978, the first edition of "Route du Rhum" made the race very famous thanks to an exciting race and an amazing finish : at the arrival in Guadeloupe, 98 seconds separated Mike Birch’s Olympus Photo from its nearest competitor, Michel Malinovski’s Kriter V.

For the first time, representatives of the Club of "France des 3 Oceans" came to Budapest at the invitation of the local Maison de la France led by Elisabeth-Parragh Pataki.
Thus, November 27, nearly 50 journalists and 30 tour operators were able to meet Caribbean, Reunion, Tahitians committees tourism, hotel chains, hotels as well as Air France.
It is interesting to note that despite the economic crisis, interest CEECs increasingly tourism professionals from France and overseas.

Gardens and flowers of Guadeloupe
From April 13  2010 to April 17th 2010 included, at the initiative of the President of the society "J'ose la nature", Mrs Josephine LADINE, a program of discovery of gardens and flowers of Guadeloupe is offered to lovers of botany.
During these 5 days, you will have the opportunity to discover and deepen your knowledge of gardens and flowers of Guadeloupe.
The program for this holidays: visit of Basse-Terre and its particular ecosystem, exploring the mangrove, visit of the botanical garden of "Domaine de Valombreuse", visit of the landscape and medicinal park of Petit-Canal, floral workshop, conferences...
On these occasions, you will exchange with specialists in botany, but also scientists, authors, associations...

Participants will stay at the hotel-residence La Sucrerie du Comte, Sainte-Rose, ideal starting point for travel around the entire Basse-Terre (Guadeloupe).
