The Charneau family has been welcoming guests to the island of St. Barth since the hotel’s opening in 1969.  Today, the family owned and managed hotel is run by the second generation of the Charneau’s.  Catherine and her brother Bertrand grew up in the hospitality industry, and there is nothing more important to them than the wellbeing of their guests…

Hotel LeVillage St. Jean is a group of 20 airy wood and stone cottages, 4 hotel rooms and  3 villas centrally located on St Jean hill. “Baie de St Jean”, the largest bay on the island, with a spectacular beach, is just a three minute walk (100 yards) down the hill. The St Jean area is popular for its up-scale shopping, restaurants and take-out, all within walking distance.

In the last years, the "Village" has added 3 villas, offering a broader and more diverse range of accommodations options.

- Wifi has been installed in all cottages, hotel rooms and villas.
- The Jacuzzi-suite has been entirely remodelled and enlarged, and rivals any of the "hip" 5 star hotels on the island!

Year 2010, further enhancements are planned:
- Our 2 Family suites will be entirely renovated, enlarged and refurbished.
- La Case, our “St Barth maisonette” at the highest point of the property has already been enlarged with a deck; the living area will be opened up to take advantage of the superb view and to allow for more light.

The suite has a contemporary design with sleek and chic furniture made from precious teak.  
One can start the day in bed with the beautiful view of St. Jean Bay and then slowly meander to the outside-inside rain-shower in a tropical garden or soak in the outdoor Jacuzzi.  
A relaxing stay is ensured! There is a fully appointed kitchen.
The cottage is fully air-conditioned and is equipped with a surround sound system, modern appliances, such as WIFI Internet access, satellite TV  on plasma screen and CD/DVD player.
The Jacuzzi-suite is accessible for disabled travellers.

Village Saint-Jean Hotel in St. Barthelemy:
The well-being center is the right place to relax and do your daily exercice.
The first level is dedicated to a relaxation room, used for massage and facial treatments. Upstairs is a classic gym, with weights and workout machines as well as a view on St. Jean bay.
The Well-Being center is a cottage constructed in 2007, located near the pool.
Available at the fitness: treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical machine and weights. The Beauty Cabin located on the ground floor is a private space to enjoy massages, facials, body treatments, manicures and pedicures.
